I live in Chesterfield, MI with my husband ~ we have been married for almost 31 years. I work part-time as an administrative assistant. My daughter graduated in June with her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. She got married July 25 and moved to Kansas July 26. So we are "Empty Nesters"!! We miss her very much!! I have been sewing since I was a very little girl. My grandmother would sew all the time and I would go to her house and we would sew together. She started me sewing by giving me her fabric scraps and I would try to make a quilt out of them. She would also give my sister and I patterns for doll clothes. I got my love of sewing from her. I would like to dedicate this website to my Mom, who went to be with the Lord on June 12, 2004 (she lost her battle with cancer just 54 days after her diagnosis) and to both of my grandmothers, who are also with the Lord.
